Brian asked: I have my computer hooked up with just a vga port on the back of my hdtv (720p tv). But the only problem I have is finding the right resolution, the one i think is right always cuts of the side of the screen and I don’t know how to fix it.

Realistically speaking, you should not be connecting your computer to the HDtv with a vga cable. You should be using DVMI or at least and S-video cable (if the video card supports that). Standard VGA connections do not support HD picture settings (which is why you have an odd screen look on the tv).
If you don’t have either a co-axial, DVMI or S-video out port on your video card, I would suggest getting a better video card with one that does have one of these and use that connection to connect to your HDtv. You will have much less problems that way!
Also don’t forget to tell Windows what monitor device you are using with the proper drivers!
