VAIO Laptop review.looking to buy one for school?

Are VAIO laptops good student computers? I’m looking at either a 15.5″ T4200 or the 14.1″ T6500 anyone have one of these, if so what do you think of it, hate about it, like about it. I’m going to university and need something that will be decently fast as I multi-task a lot with music playing, and many windows open at once for researching and writing papers. I am no a gamer so I don’t need something with a game card or anything. I want something light (as I will carry it everyday around campus with my text books), something fast,decent battery life, and would prefer it to have atleast a 320 GB hard drive. I don’t want to spend more then around $1000 because I have to pay for everything and that is my budget. Just couldn’t find any online reviews on these 2 laptops. Thanks

    you might be able to purchase a vaio for that price,I have one plus a ibm thinkpad,both have advantages,and disadvantages,the vaio is fast,no problems,the battery life sucks,only get about two hours on it,the fourteen inch screen would probably be good for you since you will be caring it around a lot,there should be a online review on them,try going to sony website,and search for laptops.
