Which laptop is better Dell or HP?

I’m planning to buy either HP Pavilion DV2220 or DELL XPS m1330. I’ve read some reviews on both models. HP is more bulky and heavier compared with Dell. And design-wise Dell is more attractive. However, there’s an issue with the GPU, am not sure it that has been resolved by Dell.

i vote for Dell, if i am right, HP Pavilion DV2220 uses AMD’s Turion 64 X2 TL-56, while DELL XPS m1330 is using Intel Core 2 Duo T7250, the dell cpu is better. i will show you how much better the DEll CPU is
Core 2 Duo T7250, considered as high-end CPU, although the score is on the bottom among the other high-end CPUs. but still much better than AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56. find score 1005
AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56, is a mid range CPU, the score is in the middle. score 682
now , the dell here uses NVIDIA GeForce 8400M, a class 3 video card, the HP here uses NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150, a class 5 video card!! no match for 8400m. the DELL here is clearly the winner. i bet it;s more expensive. well, follow your budget.
I prefer Dell. It’s always worked really good, never any problems.
get the dell because my grandparents have an Hp and the hinge broke on it but HP will fix it for free but i reccomenned the dell
I would have to go with HP, but it is an individual preference as to which computer one goes with. I mean some people even like Apple, go figure. Good luck to you.
