I still think it pales in comparison to Windows Media Center.
The new update is cool - buying content from iTunes directly on your TV, Flickr and .Mac integration, and other small stuff, but WMC is still better.
Why? Because Apple TV:
1. Cost over $200 (WMC is free)
2. Has no DVR function (you can’t record shows!)
3. Syncs up ONLY Apple content (WMC syncs up ALL your media files)
4. Can be quite slow at times.
5. The machine it runs on gets REALLY hot, and might burn you, or melt something.
6. Stole some visual elements straight from WMC
That’s just the few of the things I don’t like. I think it’s best if you try Windows Media Center instead. It’s the original, and it’s much better.
