What is the flat screen TV to go with these days?

I’ve been researching flat screen LCD TV’s for about a month now. I would like to stay around $1000 but would like to stay around 40 to 42 inches. I found a 42″ Sanyo for $947 but I can’t really find any reviews on Sanyo televisions. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

    almost all are good because there is only two or three makers of the screens

    I would reccomend this tv and to save up more money to buy this one and not to settle for anything less i have seen the cheaper 42 inch tv’s and they are crap compared to this.
