How do I connect my Wii to the internet?
Always;Questioning asked:
Ok… I have a BT home hub router thing which has wireless and I know it works because my laptop picks the signal up just fine (which i work on in the same room as the Wii) but the Wii doesn’t pick up any wireless signal.

Is there something I need to do so the Wii can pick up the signal?
The Wii (& my laptop which picks up the wireless fine) are upstairs and the router is downstairs.

I may be wrong, but I have heard that you need an special cord. I’ve never used my Wii with wireless, so like I said, may be wrong. Plus, I’ve seen all cords for sale for the Wii all over the internet.

Well the signal could be weak from the system because laptops have stronger recievers than a wii but you can buy wires from gamestop/walmart/target/ or online if you would like (ebay’s the cheapest) for less than 15$

You should probably move your Wii closer to the router… You can also try Nintendo’s special USB thing for Wii/DS you can find in stores… (The USB thing goes into your computer, not the Wii)
If you want to try a wired connection, you can get a Nintendo LAN adapter… Other ones may work- just connect it to the USB slots to the back of the Wii.

If you have Wi-Fi just follow the on screen directions. It was simple.

Change your wireless router channel to 11.
That would most likely be what you should do.
