Banana asked:

I am thinking about getting a Wii sometime soon. Are there a lot of good games for the wii? If you are a gamer, do you ever get tired of the wii? What games would you recomend? Is a wii really worth the price you pay? What are the cons of the wii besed on your expirience? Are there any new wii systems that are coming out that I should maybe wait for?
Thanks in advance!

Ahh, my dear friend, the Wii was a heck of a system when it came out. I am going to say it to you right now, the Wii 2.0 is coming out so don’t bother buying one for now. Also, the pros with the wii is that… well its has no pros, the cons though is that the games getting boring. The top games I would recommend for the Wii is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Conduit, MadWorld, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Thats probably all I can come up with, the little gimmick kid games get really boring after a while so I would say get it, its a fun experience, I have a Wii and after I played it I got a XBOX 360, both systems are wonderful. So wait for the Wii 2.0 and you will be good.

    pros :
    interactivity
intuitive controls so anyone can play without any gaming experience
lots of games for younger children
    fun in groups
awesome for sports games – if you can swing a bat or club or throw a punch then playing baseball , golf , boxing games and others is easy and still challenging and fun
    work out and fitness games

    cons :
lots of games for younger children – not so many for adults beyond sports games and exercise games
no real hard drive means downloading add-on content or games is limited
if you like hardcore games like first person shooters the selection is minimal – some online only games like battlefield 1943 aren’t even available and others like call of duty world at war are missing levels and online play modes and don’t allow for added map packs to be downloaded like the ps3 or 360 versions do
no dvd player or music player except for the ability to listen to aac format through a usb stick

the price : a month ago I would have said it’s a good price but now a ps3 is only $299 and includes so much more
