What’s the difference between an Xbox 360 Arcade and a normal 360 with a 20Gb memory apart from the memory?
arkantosdt asked:
I recently bought an Xbox 360 Arcade with Halo 3. I’ve gone over many websites trying to find differences between it and a normal 20Gb Xbox 360, or is that just it. If that is the case, then will it play Xbox original games if I buy a 20Gb memory for it? Any answers would be greatly received.

I know what you’re talking about. I am in the exact same position. I don’t get it either. But I do know the arcade one is a lil bit cheaper.

Ay , I got the arcade version and i’m playing XBOX 360 games i’ve heard some people saying that the graphics at the 20gb one but i didn’t see a difference so it doesn’t really matter and by the way after you’ll be playing 360′s games you won’t even look at the old ones…360 ones are waay better , not only graphically but and the concept itself of the game.
Oh and buy GTA 4 ;p best game ever

There is no difference in the systems except the Hard drives .
All their guts, operating system and graphics are the same.
Yes to play the older system games you need a hard drive and frankly a 20Gb is more that enough room i keep lots of stuff on mine from game info to music files and still have tons of space left.
BTW if you want a bargain you can find lots of 20GB hard drives on Ebay and at stores like Gamestop for around $50.

when you bought your xbox 360 the only memory thing you got was probably a 256MB memory card(thats not a lot of memory)
the 20GB has way more memory than (duh) a cheesy memory card.
the system itself has no difference in them
all systems are the same unless you modify them
i recently had a 20GB xbox 360 but it had red ring of light(when your xbox 360 is screwed up)
so i went out to buy an arcade version and there was no difference in the system
so long story short the memory is the only difference
